Happy half a year birthday!

Our baby Jacob is now half a year old.  In the past 6 months, he has learned a lot of new things!  Here is just a few of them:

Rolls both ways
Sits up unsupported
Gets up on hands and knees and rocks back and forth
Loves nursing, and has only had formula on a few, rare occasions
Eats rice cereal and oatmeal
Loves playing with/eating other foods like soft pieces of chicken, rice rusks, toast, and bananas
Smiles at familiar faces
Cries when mommy or daddy leave the room
Picks up pretty much anything and shoves it in his mouth
Has 4 teeth!
Loves to pinch and bite mommy
Enjoys scratching things like the couch, carpet, clothes, etc. and listening to the sound
Grabs people's faces
Laughs
Plays with Grandpa and Grandma's dog
Becomes mesmerized by the washing machine and dryer (clear doors)
Smiles when daddy talks to him on the phone
Flies Combat Air Patrol over the living room with daddy's help
Loves raspberries on his belly, cheeks and neck
Reaches for mommy and daddy
Makes the most adorable pouty face
Loves the Lutheran liturgy and organ music
Enjoys mommy and daddy's singing

...and is the greatest little guy ever!
