Old Navy

My husband and I love Old Navy.  They have good quality clothes at decent prices.  We like their styles/trends better than some of the, perhaps, more popular stores our age group shop at, such as Aeropostale or American Eagle for example.  They also have a great selection of baby clothes in styles we really like on Jacob.  The great thing about Old Navy is not only do we like their clothes, find that they hold up well and fit our body types well, but they also have a lot of good deals!!

We have an Old Navy credit card, so one of the perks is for every $200 you spend, you get a $10 gift card to use on any purchase.  We also periodically receive coupons for percentages off, or for money off a purchase ($5 off of $25, $15 off of $50, etc.).  When you combine these coupons with sales and deals in-store, we get a lot of clothes for a great price.

Today, they had women's tank tops on sale for $2 (normally $8.50). The store opened early, at 8:30 am, but we didn't get there until about 9:30 am.  By the time we did get there, the shelves were a mess, there was a crowd of women with children hovering over them, and there was about a 5 minute wait to purchase your items.  It was worth it.

We were handed a $5 off of $25 coupon as we entered the store, so we decided to use that to get a whole bunch of clearance items.

(1) graphic tee - $15.00 (for Gabe)
     - on sale for $8.00
(5) perfect tanks - $8.50 each (2 for my mom, 3 for me)
     - on sale for $2.00 each
(4) pairs of flip-flops - $3.50 each (3 for me, 1 for Gabe)
     - on sale for $2.00 each
(1) reusable bag - $1.00 (just for fun)

Original price = $77.50
Price after coupon and sales = $22.00

Our goal was to spend less than $25, but enough to be able to use that $5 off of $25 coupon.  I think we did a pretty good job today!!!
